Andrzej Bart is one of the most mysterious Polish writers. He is known for his particularly dense, unsettlingly Kafkaesque moods. He is the author of Fabryka Muchołapek [The Flytrap Factory], shortlisted for the 1999 Nike Literary Prize, and the winner of the 1991 Kościelskich Prize.
