Films   Information TAUBE FOUNDATION'S JEWISH HERITAGE TOURS THE OTHER EUROPEANS European project   Friends		Hasidic Song Rabbi Nachman of Bratzlaw liked to say that all the love and fear of G-d can be found in each “nigun”; he counseled: “develop within yourself the habit of singing. Thanks to it, you will acquire peace of mind.” Almost every year since 1998, we have been meeting Benzion Miller and Daniel Gildare during the Hasidic song workshops. Benzion Miller is one of the preeminent chazzans, he is our guide through the world of Hasidic music, and he is continually discovering new beauty there. A great many tzaddiks were also outstanding composers, the creators of “nigunim”, or songs without words that praise the Lord. After all, the “nigun” is the language of the human soul. Benzion Miller tells about and sings the mystery of human closeness to G-d, which the Hasidim achieve thanks to their faith and their music. back
