The works in this exhibition are the fruits of a nationwide artistic contest on “Illustrating Singer”. Inspired by the work of Isaac Bashevis Singer, the great Jewish writer who lived in Poland and wrote in Yiddish, they are a natural continuation of our efforts so far. Along with entries in the “Illustrating Singer” contest, the exhibition also features paintings by Dariusz Pala and Piotr Kaniecki. These paintings reflect the two artists’ interest in the work of the Israeli
writer Edgar Keret.
