Raw, powerful, and authentic – these photographs from the collection of the Jerusalem antiquary Abraham Madeisker comprise a subtle, polyphonic narrative. The ostensibly distanced and unreal world of photography opens up for viewers, inviting them to make their own associations with Jerusalem, and to fill the vacant stone
landscapes with their own meanings.
